This is due to lack of the minimum required 15 years of insurance experience
The Minister of social policy Andrei Reva said that in Ukraine today, about 20 thousand people of retirement age do not receive pensions because of their lack of the minimum required 15 years of insurance experience.
“Must be a correlation between what people pay and what people get. Agree that each person takes part in the pension system differently. There is a minimum below which you generally any do not receive pensions. If you don’t have 15 years of insurance experience to you, the pension is not paid,” – said the Minister.
According to him, the question as to what proportion of citizens do not receive pensions, there is little discussion in the society.
“This little speaker and very few people know. We have almost 20 thousand people in Ukraine who do not receive a pension, as people of retirement age. They don’t pay the pension they paid special assistance, which is paid to a person not entitled to pension,” said Reva.
