The military observed a minute of silence in memory of brothers who died three years ago under Zelenopole in Lugansk region.
Since the beginning of the military conflict in Eastern Ukraine has killed 67 of the guards, more than 400 soldiers were wounded and five missing.

“Unfortunately, since the aggravation of the situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions during fighting collisions and attacks 67 of the border guards who bravely stood on critical areas and courageously performed their duties, was killed. More than 400 soldiers were wounded and five are still missing”, – stated in the message.
Today, the employees of the State border service of Ukraine observed a minute of silence in memory of brothers who died in the Luhansk region under zelenopolyem three years ago.
“On this day, July 11, 2014 Russian-terrorist troops fired at the divisions carrying out tasks near the settlement of Zelenopillia. Then, under heavy fire killed seven border guards, five more were injured. Protecting the integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, the border guards first came under massive attack from systems of volley fire BM-21 “Grad”, which was conducted from the territory of Russia”, – told in state frontier service.
