Cell phone Nokia 8110, which was released 20 years ago and featured in the movie “the Matrix” not long ago got a new life – its second generation was shown 4 months ago at the MWC show in Barcelona in 2018. Today the mobile phone has finally reached Russia, and now it’s available to buy it is official.
A distinctive feature of the Nokia 8110 was the curved shape of the hull, for which his all over the world came to be called Banana. Nokia has taken into account this fact, and the new phone came out not only in a simple black, but in bright yellow design – similar to fruit increased markedly. In the Russian retail gadget is worth exactly 6000 rubles, and it is important to note that we are dealing with a conventional phone, even the image is not a smartphone, and install applications on it will not work.
Included is a simplified program Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps and Assistant, but the screen is tiny (2.4 inches, 240×320 pixels) non-touch, so using them is not very convenient.
