The new terminal of the Odessa airport received its first flight

The area of the departure Lounges of the new terminal at the airport of Odessa can provide accommodation for 12 flights simultaneously.

April 15, 2017 at Odessa international airport opened a new terminal. About it reports a press-service of the airport.

In the new terminal complex will accept and serve passengers of domestic flights of airlines operating flights on the route Kiev (Borispol) – Odessa and Kiev (Zhulyany) – Odessa. Upon technology service for domestic flights the next stage will be transfer to the new terminal of passengers of Charter and regular international flights.

The new terminal of the international airport Odessa – four. The total area of 29 thousand square meters will allow to increase the current area of the airport, which is 8 thousand sq. m., 3.5 times. The area of the departure Lounges are able to accommodate passengers up to 12 flights simultaneously.

The construction of the terminal also includes construction of apron for four aircraft of type Boeing-737 and Boeing-767-200. After the completion of the new terminal of the airport, the city gets the infrastructure facility can serve up to 3 million passengers per year.
