November 1 laid the thread schedule of a train №1319/1320 via the transit route through Ukraine in the framework of the new silk road. This was stated by Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian, reported on the official website of the Cabinet.
“Trains will consist of 57 platforms under universal containers. The Chinese side agreed on the thread schedule of the train, which will take place from Zhengzhou through Ukraine (Chop, Mostiska) in the direction of Slovakia, Poland and Hungary,” he said.
According to the Omelyan, the Ministry is actively working with the state Reserve of Ukraine to fill the cargo trains, but also enhances co-ordination to promote export of Ukrainian goods to China.
Omeljan stressed that this is the beginning of a great process to return Ukraine to the League of world powers transit.
“Reduction of port tariffs and fees, the expansion of direct communication with the EU countries, modernization of infrastructure and subsequent integration of the Ukrainian transport system into the European and TRANS-European transport corridors – a set of measures that will return Ukraine to the League of world powers-transit”, the Minister added.
