In Chechnya (Russia) in the night of the 26th of January 2017, there was a mass extrajudicial execution, which killed 27 people in the Republic. This is with reference to sources in the management of the Chechen branch of the Investigative Committee of Russia and the administration of the head of the Republic writes “the New newspaper”.

In January 2017 the RAID took place, during which the law enforcers also detained residents of Chechnya. According to the investigation, the media, the detainees were not issued officially, they are not charged, and just put in basements and utility rooms of the departments of the Republican police. In total, according to the newspaper, police detained about 200 people.
