In early November, has already appeared pictures of the interior of the new “Gelika”, but then was captured only the layout of the salon, shown at the presentation of the car to the media. Now there appeared the image of a “living” SUV, including images of the Central tunnel and the rear row of seats that didn’t exist before.
Judging by the photos, the G-Class will be completely new interior with 12.3-inch display of the multimedia complex and touchpad, as in other modern models of “Mercedes”. The transmission selector moves to the steering column.
“Galic” will be framed, will have more aluminum elements in the design (the SUV will be lighter by about 160 pounds), Electromechanical power steering instead of power steering, the new suspension and different engines.
The SUV will appear six-cylinder diesel with a volume of 2.9 liters and a turbo “eight” volume of four liters. Units can be paired with a nine-automatic transmission.
The public debut of the model will be held at the January motor show in Detroit.
