The new Mercedes-Benz impressed the car enthusiasts with luxury and perfection.
Mercedes-Benz will show its most luxurious and technically advanced A-Class at the Geneva motor show in March next year, and while he is testing his future rival BMW 1 Series and looks like the work is coming to its final stage. It is clear that body parts, such as plastic parts or frames surrounding the glass, handles, mirror and grille will not be painted in the same color as the body. The car is prepared in two versions — hatchback and sedan. Although not visible in the photo, saying that the sedan will be largely identical to the hatchback, at least in the front. Besides, it looks like Mercedes-Benz CLS 2018 model year will also have the same headlights as the smallest Mercedes, not to mention the grille.
It is unknown how it will look in the interior, as identified earlier prototypes were fitted with handles and Adjusters from other Mercedes-Benz models. But we already know that advanced equipment’s compact car will get two large displays, one of which will be digital instrument panel.
Under the hood expect petrol and diesel engines of new generation. The entry-level model will get a 1.6-liter diesel, which will replace the 1.5-litre unit from Renault, and gasoline units will have a volume of from 1.2 to 2 liters. I guess the seven-speed transmission with double clutch will be replaced with a newly developed nine-speed automatic transmission and six-speed “mechanics” will take W176. At the top level of the model range except for the AMG A45 will be replenished with a smaller “brother”, which probably will be equipped with the recently introduced 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit with mild hybrid technology.
More information about the machine we learn as we approach its official debut, but now we can definitely say that the new A-Class looks bigger and more aggressive.
