The Netherlands refused Moscow’s request about the persecution of Russians in the case of MH17.
The Netherlands refused to the Russian authorities that Russians, who considers the Hague involved in the collapse of the Malaysian Boeing in the Donbass in 2014, was tried in Russia. About it reports Reuters with reference to the letter of the Minister of justice of the Netherlands Ferda Grapperhaus in Parliament.
In the letter Grapperhaus reported that in October 2019 Moscow appealed to the Dutch authorities with a request that the case of three suspects of the Russians was examined by the court on the territory of Russia. “The Minister of justice replied that the transfer charges on three Russian suspects is not possible for the Dutch authorities and will not be considered”, — quotes Agency the text of the letter.
