Head coach of Ukrainian football Andriy Shevchenko before the next qualifiers for the world Cup decided to hold a mini-camp.
Official website of the football Federation of Ukraine reports that the country’s top team before the big match against Croatia for a few days will travel to Austria for a training camp.
The players of “Dynamo” and “Shakhtar”, the backbone of the national team of Ukraine, March 17, will play their matches in the 22nd round of the Premier League, and the next day will leave to Austria. Other players will join the team after their matches in the national Championships.
The team will be based in bad Tatzmannsdorf and will stay in the Austrian Alps for five days. March 22 “blue-yellow” are planning to go to Zagreb, and the match against Croatia will be held March 24 at the stadium “Maksimir”.
One of the key matches of the qualifying round national team of Ukraine is in second place – Shevchenko led the team in four matches produced eight points (victory over Kosovo and Finland, a draw with Iceland and Turkey). Croatia with 10 points leads the qualifying group.
