Ukraine’s national team has progressed in the top 20 ranking of the International basketball Federation (FIBA).
For a month the Ukraine national team made the jump from 38th to 19th position. This progress contributed to the successful performance of “blue-yellow” team in the Eurobasket-2017 – team Evgeny Murzin proved the skeptics wrong and sensationally reached the playoffs, losing in the 1/8 finals of the future Champions of the continent Slovenes.
In the ranking of the best teams in Europe, the Ukraine national team has moved to 12th position. The top 3 teams of the continent is composed of Spain, Serbia and France.
By a wide margin the rating is headed by FIBA team USA. The Americans in an official match was last defeated in 2006. In 11 years the U.S. team won the world championship three times and won gold at the Olympic games.
