NABS suspects netpolicy in fraud when purchasing a car

National anti-corruption Bureau suspects the National police in overpayment of 30% on purchases hybrid SUV Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. About it on his website, wrote the international anti-corruption organization Transparency International Ukraine.

So, the organization refers to the decision of the Solomyansky district court in which the detectives NAB has applied for permission for access to the telephone conversations of defendants in criminal proceedings.

According to the detectives NAB, the investigation established the facts of abuse of official position officials of the Central service units of the national police. Acting in collusion with the officers of the company NCO Diamond and officials of the Ministry of internal Affairs, they have created a non-competitive conditions during the procurement contract with a company on the basis of negotiations.

The price that was specified in the purchase of SUVs, on average, 30% above market. As a result, attackers have caused to the budget a damage of 240 million UAH.

As you know, the service center divisions of the national police has announced a tender for the negotiating process to the needs of the defence 16 November 2016. Planned to buy a 635 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in the amount of UAH 959 million. On December 14 the customer has signed a contract with NCO Diamond in the amount of 959,4 million.

In Transparency International claim that the purchase could not happen at the negotiating procedure, because the law on which the purchase, does not apply to OTC the national police.

Recall that in the year 2016, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has granted Ukraine a discount on the purchase of official vehicles for the National police of Ukraine.
