The national Bank of Ukraine has updated the system of electronic interbank payments.
On 3 November the national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has introduced a new streamlined government the system of electronic interbank payments.
This was reported by the press service of the regulator.
The introduction of the third generation System of electronic payments of the NBU (Sep) was successful and did not affect the quality of service the banks clients. During the banking day November 3, Sep-3 was processed 1.2 million payments totaling more than 79,7 billion.
“The introduction of EPAS-3 is one of the components of the strategic program of development of information technologies of national Bank, aimed at developing and improving services and IT infrastructure for both internal tasks and services that the Bank provides to the banking community”, – the press service quoted the words of the Director of information technologies Department of the NBU Volodymyr Nagornykh.
