The national Bank became a member of the Basel group

Participants of the Basel consultative group are the Central banks and Supervisory authorities of 28 countries.

The national Bank of Ukraine became a member of the Basel consultative group (Basel Consultative Group – BCG), was established with the Basel Committee on banking supervision (Basel Committee for Banking Supervision – BCBS). About it reports a press-service of the NBU.

The objective of the Basel consultative group – to engage with new proposals of the Basel Committee of supervisors of those countries that are not members. Participants of the Basel consultative group are the Central banks and Supervisory authorities of 28 countries, among which now the national Bank of Ukraine.

A meeting of the Group occur three times a year. NBU in the Basel consultative group will represent the Director of financial stability Department Vitaly vavrischuk.
