The head of Mission of Ukraine to the European Union, Ambassador Nicholas Tochitskii believes that the introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens debunks myths about storieslatest of Ukraine to the EU.
About this Tochitskii said today in Brussels, commenting on the entry into force of the EU’s decision on bezveze for Ukraine.
“It’s really an extraordinary event that breaks all the myths that Ukraine is somewhere in the backyard of Europe. We did it,” said the Ambassador.
In addition, the conviction Tochicago, the decision to bezveze from a political point of view is the confirmation from the European Union that Ukraine and the EU are equal partners, and Ukraine has fulfilled all the obligations for the visa-free regime.
The Ambassador also congratulated all Ukrainians, the country’s leadership with this “significant event”.
