The representative of the Maltese government said that international experts will help in the investigation of the explosion.
The Malta police believed that the explosive device which took the life of journalist Daphne Caruana Galicia, pinned under her car and detonated remotely.
“New evidence make us think that the bomb was placed under a car and was brought into action at a distance”, − said the representative of the government of Malta.
She said that the British police joined the Dutch judicial experts and the team of the Federal Bureau of investigation United States to help in this matter.
It is noted that foreign experts should help identify the mobile phone used to detonate the bomb.
Local police earlier said that the criminals probably used to kill the explosive Semtex, which in Malta had not been used.
We will remind, the journalist Daphne Caruana Galicia, known for its investigations of corruption in the framework of the project Panama Papers, died in Malta in result of car explosion.
