According to the national police, most crimes are committed in cities with well – developed road infrastructure in Kiev and major regional centers. Mostly thefts are recorded in natural stands and streets of settlements.
The most “popular” among car thieves use cars VAZ (1328 stolen car). Also, attackers steal of model ZAZ-Daewoo (550 cars), Toyota (496 PCs), Mercedes-Benz (281 units) and Lexus (202 pieces).
In just 2017 in Ukraine stole 6092 vehicle.
The police noted the trend to increase the number of car thefts Ukrainian and Russian production. Attackers basically dismantle them for parts, or pass on the scrap.
