Most of these projects, obviously never be implemented.
Every year there are many projects the conceptual architecture. Sometimes it is quite realistic new skyscraper, in other cases, phantasmagoric projects that seem to come straight from the future. 2017 is no exception – there are many strange and awe-inspiring architectural concepts.

Most of these fantastic projects, obviously, will never be realized, their value lies in the ideas that they develop. Conceptual architecture raises questions about where “moves” society, and what principles of design you should start to study.

Imaginary, but almost impossible skyscraper that hangs above the Earth’s surface and orbiting artificial asteroid, to the weird curved tower that resembles a giant paperclip… projects in 2017 was one more bizarre another.

In the past year continued the trend in building, covered with green plants and the high wooden tower. There are several new concepts famous vertical forest towers from the Studio Stefano Boeri.

Forest city, Chinese Liuzhou.
What seemed a dream a few years ago, in fact, became reality in several parts of the world. The Italian architects forest city has already started to build in the Chinese Liuzhou. Presumably, the construction will end in 2020.
Although impressive wooden structure with a height of 217 meters, proposed for new York, is unlikely to be built, has already started work on an exciting art installation called “the Ship from Heatherwick Studio”.

Interestingly, no one even imagined that this installation will see the light, so I can’t renounce that even the craziest concepts will begin to create.

The Paris firm Vincent Callebaut Architectures in 2017, again presented a series of exciting and futuristic concepts. Of them it is worth to highlight the Nautilus Eco-Resort – rotating building, in the shape inspired by the Fibonacci sequence.

Among the most interesting architectural concepts of 2017 is to provide a house of ship containers inside the trunk of a Redwood tree and a giant working model of a city on Mars, which is expected to build in the desert near Dubai.
