UNIT.City together with ACHIEVERS HUB presented its first report on the gaming industry in Ukraine.
2018 will be the first year that revenues from mobile games will exceed 50% of the market game development. Growth in 2017 was 13.3%. And by 2021, its share is about 60%.
The most popular platform for game development among those surveyed Ukrainian companies – Unity (69%), and the genre – Action (63%).
The survey involved 72 companies. According to the findings: 40% of such companies (41) is in Kiev and 16% (17) in Odessa. Followed by Dnipro, Kharkiv and Lviv. In total, according to preliminary estimates, in Ukraine, the creation of games occupies more than 20 thousands of developers.
