According to the OSCE, the number of explosions in the direction of Lugansk has increased tenfold.
In Luhansk the Special monitoring mission of the OSCE noted the increase in the number of violations of the cease-fire, including nearly 300 explosions. About it reports a press-service of the mission.
Before it was recorded about 33 explosions.
“The evening of 29 and 30 June, while in Popasna (69 km West of Luhansk), the SMM team heard (in chronological order) 14 explosions, assessed as mortar breaks of 5-10 km to the North-West, 10 explosions, assessed as mortar shells, and approximately 50 rounds from heavy machine guns – all 4 km to the East, about 300 shots from heavy machine guns in the 3-5 km South-South-East”, – noted in press service.
Observers saw 60-70 explosions in the air from the fire of anti-aircraft guns (ZU-23, 23 mm) 4-5 km to the South-West (the observers also saw these explosions), five explosions, assessed as breaks in the mortar (120 mm) 1-2 km North-North-East; 20 explosions, assessed as fire from a mortar (120 mm) and 10-15 explosions, estimated as the artillery (122 mm and 152 mm) – all within a 5-10 km in the sector from East to South.
“The OSCE has recorded 10-15 explosions, estimated as the artillery (122 mm and 152 mm) to 5-8 km North-North-West, 70-90 explosions of uncertain origin in 3-5 km to South-Southeast, 20 to 30 explosions, is estimated as the grenade automatic grenade launcher (AGS-17, 30mm), and eight explosions is estimated as the mortar breaks – all 3 km to the East,” – said the press service.
