Search and rescue teams found the bodies of seven sailors, who had been missing during the collision of a US Navy destroyer class “early Burke” USS Fitzgerald and container ship last night off the coast of Japan.

“The bodies of the sailors missing in the collision of USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) and a merchant vessel, was found,” – said in an official statement.

Search-and-rescue team found them in the compartments of the ship, which was deformed during the collision. These parts of the ship were flooded, said the leadership of the fleet.
