Military pensions will increase by a separate law.
Increase in pensions for military retirees should expect from the 1st of January, changes will be made in a separate bill. This broadcast “Evening Prime” on the TV channel “112 Ukraine”, said justice Minister Pavel Petrenko.
“More than 2 million pensioners – military pensioners. It will be a separate law, and military pensioners from January 1 next year will be a significant increase pensions”, – said Petrenko.
Also, according to the Minister, if Parliament vote for pension reform, November 1, 5 million 600 thousand pensioners will receive a pension increase.
“If the person worked in the public sector and retired in 2008, it could be a doctor or a teacher, it is now the average pension 1467 UAH from the calculation of the wages in 2007. After the pension reform the pension is definitely growing by about UAH 1,000 for state employees. Then there will be about 2300 UAH, from 1 October, if we voted our pension reform – 5 million 600 thousand pensioners will receive this increase,” – said Petrenko.
As reported, the Cabinet on 17 may approved the bill on pension reform and submitted it to the Council reforms.
