The Ministry of justice propose to merge the land registry and the registry of real estate

To create zemkadastr was written off huge sums from the budget, but it is still poorly filled

Separate the administration of the State land cadastre Gosgeokadastr and the state register of property rights to immovable property the Ministry of justice is inefficient, creates the conditions for abuse and both registers have to be combined.

This statement was made by Minister of justice of Ukraine Pavel Petrenko.

“Can’t have two moms one person. Or we pay the real estate register, or give us land cadastre”, – said the Minister during a meeting with the European business Association in Kyiv on Thursday, speaking about the reasons for raiding the land.

Commenting on the current state land cadastre, he said that “the scale of the disaster is huge.”

According to the Minister of justice, the creation of zemkadastr was written off huge sums from the budget, but it is still poorly filled: the documents are issued in paper form, and at the local level, his work is faced with “a complete sabotage.”

Petrenko said that later launched the register of real estate filled administreres better and more efficiently.

The Minister added that a similar situation is also with the state Register of acts of civil status, which leads the Ministry of justice and the Unified state demographic register which is kept by the interior Ministry.

Petrenko said that currently being a functional audit of ministries, and expressed the hope that Ukraine will come to unite the registers “under one roof”.
