Cooperation programme with the International monetary Fund Ukraine intends to finish before the beginning of 2019 and expects the tranche to the end of 2017. This was announced by Finance Minister Alexander danyluk.
“I can say that we appreciate our cooperation, we value our commitment to the program. This is the position of the government and the Prime Minister. Our goal is to successfully complete the program in 2018,” he said.
According to him, Ukraine remains committed to the programme with the IMF and expects the next tranche of its framework, will be allocated before the end of 2017.
This week danyluk will travel to Washington for talks with IMF on allocation of the next tranche amid concerns that the implementation of the program slowed down.
The Minister noted that Ukraine is ready to discuss any issues arising from the IMF about pension reform approved by Ukrainian Parliament last week.
According to him, all these issues are easily resolved.
