The Ministry of Finance of Russia proposed 2021-2023 years to reduce the costs of the State Duma and the Federation Council to 1.9 billion rubles. About it writes RIA Novosti with reference to the document “Methodology of calculation of the maximum baseline budget appropriations of the Federal budget on state programs of the Russian Federation and non-programme activities”.
So, spending on the state Duma in 2021 is proposed to be cut by 2.9% (378 million) in 2022 4.5% (577 million) in 2023 2% (256 million).
The cost of the Federation Council in the next three years, the Finance Ministry also wants to reduce in 2021 – 3% (217 million) in 2022 – 4.6% (338 million) in 2023 – 2.4% (178 million). In the end, the funding could reach about seven billion rubles annually.
In addition, it is possible to reduce costs of the Accounts chamber.
Earlier radio Sputnik reported that the Finance Ministry wants to save on the salaries of officials and weapons.
