Russian General of the GPU suspected of involvement in hostilities against the Ukrainian army.
Main military Prosecutor’s office reported about suspicion to the commander of the 41st combined arms army Central military district of the Russian armed forces, major General Alexei Zavizyon. This reports the press service of the Prosecutor General.
General of the Russian Federation is suspected of separatism, violation of the constitutional order of Ukraine, waging aggressive war, and also participating in a terrorist organization.
“Savision reasonably suspected that he in the period from February to July 2015 … performing the duties of the commander of the 1 army corps – illegal armed formations, the so-called “people’s militia DNR”, by bringing orders … provided on the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions daily maintenance … of attacks of positions of forces of anti-terrorist operation and armed attacks against military APU, other military formations and law enforcement bodies”, – stated in the message.
As a result of these actions killed at least 3 million were wounded and more than 8 thousand soldiers of the armed forces and other military units involved in the ATO. In addition, caused considerable material damage to Ukraine.
The suspect is wanted.
