The match between Moldova and Russia on football was in jeopardy

Moscow. March 10. INTERFAX.RU – selling tickets for the friendly match between the national teams of Moldova and Russia on football, scheduled for March 31 in Chisinau, is suspended, said Tuesday the press service of the football Federation of Moldova.

It is noted that this is due to the cancellation of Moldova in mass events because of the threat of coronavirus.

“According to a statement issued today by the Ministry of health, labour and social security regarding “cancellation of mass demonstrations in accordance with who recommendations”, the football Federation of Moldova adopted the decision to postpone the sale of tickets for the friendly match Moldova – Russia, planned for March 31 in Chisinau”, – stated in the message.

On the resumption of ticket sales will be announced later.

Earlier, the press service of the Russian football Union (RFU) said that the Federation of football of Moldova had not reported a change of plans for the conduct of the match.
