The searches are connected with investigation of criminal proceedings on the facts of possible abuse of official position.
Detectives of the National anti-corruption Bureau under the procedural management of SAP prosecutors carry out investigations in the main office of PJSC CB PrivatBank in Dnipro.

It is noted that the searches are connected with investigation of criminal proceedings on the facts of possible abuse of the official position of officials of the national Bank, and PrivatBank misappropriation of funds in especially large size, advanced management and owners of a substantial part of the specified Bank institution (part 2 St. 364, part 5 of article 191 UK of Ukraine), resulting in the state suffered losses in the amount of the Bank’s capital increase in the amount of 116.8 bln.
Earlier it was reported that the Prosecutor General’s office opened a criminal case on the incitement of PrivatBank to insolvency.
According to Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of the NAB and SAP are investigating several cases related to PrivatBank.
