Russia has already pledged support, say in Libya.
The opposition government, which opposes the UN supported the country’s leadership in the capital Tripoli, asked for military help from Russia and received promises of such support. This was stated by Aguila Saleh, the speaker of the opposition of the Parliament, which is located in the city of Tobruk.
“Most of our officers studying in Russia, many of them can speak Russian and knows how to use Russian equipment,” – declared by Saleh on March 14 in an interview with Russian state news Agency RIA Novosti.
“We promised to help in the fight against terrorism,” – said the representative of the Libyan opposition.
Agila Saleh has promised that the army of his government will establish control over the oil fields and ports, which are currently controlled by the leadership of Tripoli.
The leader of the opposition of the armed forces of Khalifa Haftar in the past year, twice went to Moscow, where she spoke with Minister of defense of Russia. Saleh pointed out that about 70 soldiers of the forces under the leadership of the Haftarah in February, was sent to Russia for treatment.
