According to experts, in recent years the situation regarding public confidence in the APU has changed dramatically.
“People are very different, and even there are people who are very negative attitude to the army, but the overall situation has changed greatly. This is confirmed by all the opinion polls. I have been closely following every poll … And I see have already checked the length and breadth in the dynamics of several years. The situation has changed dramatically,” said Solontay.
He said: “If previously there were only 3 institutes that people are trusted more than not trusted, none of them was the state. That is who the people trust themselves, the family, the Church (since 1990-ies has strengthened this institution), and in recent years, with the birth of civil society, there was a public organization. Very often they are trusted more than not trusted. But neither the first nor the second, nor the third is not a state. Thus, the country is, the Ukrainians have held, and state – no”.
At the same time, the expert says: “What happened after the war, after the Maidan, after the revolution of Dignity, when many people went to volunteer battalions, when we have a real true heroes, when the army, unofficially, but really we defended and then she officially caught up with these processes? .. and what we see in opinion polls – have volunteers, Armed Forces, and partly the case, I trust the police, especially the patrol. And the Armed Forces and volunteer battalions is in all regions of the trust. In all cities the trust in excess of no confidence. Up to 40% comes confidence, and this is the state”.
