All of you probably know who the zodiac is. Saw the eponymous movie by David Fincher with Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr. in the lead roles. Remember that this really existed a serial killer operated in the United States in the late 1960-ies, has sent letters to local Newspapers, made the people break their heads on their cryptograms. Oh, and most importantly, the culprit was never caught and his identity is still not established.
Officially the last murder, the zodiac was made in October 1969, and since then nothing is heard about him. But guess what will be discussed in the movie called “the Awakening of the Zodiac”?
Yes, three enthusiasts decided to dust off the mysteries of the last century to finally reveal the identity of the killer. Well, apparently, they’d catch up to him close enough for the zodiac awakened.
Starring (future victims) performed by Shane West (TV’s “Salem”), Leslie Bibb (the First avenger: Confrontation) and Matt Craven (“Devil”). Director took some Jonathan Wright, known mostly for work on television.
To be honest, some revelations from this film it is difficult to wait. Pretty average cast, unknown Director, and the trailer doesn’t seem to be encouraging. I think the picture is Fincher so and will let not only one, but the biggest cinematic statement about the zodiac.
Anyway, “the Awakening of the Zodiac” to be held on 9 June 2017.
