The Prosecutor General’s office of Spain prepares leader of Catalonia Podemno mutiny
Next week the head of the regional government of Catalonia will be charged with sedition, said the representative of the Prosecutor General of Spain.
The Prosecutor General’s office of Spain intends to initiate an investigation against the head of administration of the Catalan Carles Pokdemon on suspicion of “rebellion”.
Next week, the Agency charged Podemno, announced on Friday evening, October 27, his spokesman. For preparation of the rebellion, the Spanish legislation provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a period of 30 years.
The Parliament of Catalonia on Friday, October 27, announced the establishment of the independent state. The Parliament adopted a resolution on the establishment of a “Catalan Republic as an independent and sovereign state”, without specifying the period of his proclamation. From among the deputies present in the room 70 voted in favour, 10 against. In the vote was attended by representatives of the opposition parties, which before left the meeting room.
Shortly thereafter, the Spanish Senate voted for the deprivation of the government in the Barcelona office. The upper chamber of the Spanish Parliament approved the application of article 155 of the Constitution, providing for the abolition of the regional government, Parliament and the direct control of the authority.
