As reported, on June 6, ambassadors of the European Union agreed to extend sanctions imposed over the annexation of Crimea by Russia.

“EU ambassadors agreed to submit to the Council a decision to extend the measures introduced in response to the annexation of the Crimea and Sevastopol for another year, until 23 June 2018,” – said the EU Council.

The decision may be taken by the EU Council on 19 June.
