The Kremlin has called the extension of sanctions against Russia imposed by the European Union over the annexation of Crimea “illegal.” About it to journalists in Moscow said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
“This is definitely our regret. Still believe these sanctions are harming the EU and the us. We believe these sanctions are illegal,” said Sands.
He said that the European Union imposed sanctions “discordant with the mood in European capitals, as it is a double-edged weapon”, which deals damage to all parties.
According to him, more and more to continue the sanctions affected the EU producers.
As reported, on June 6, ambassadors of the European Union agreed to extend sanctions imposed over the annexation of Crimea by Russia.
“EU ambassadors agreed to submit to the Council a decision to extend the measures introduced in response to the annexation of the Crimea and Sevastopol for another year, until 23 June 2018,” – said the EU Council.
The decision may be taken by the EU Council on 19 June.
