Zakharchenko and Carpentry don’t want to give up its power.
The so-called leader “DNR” Alexander Zakharchenko is not the first time to prohibit the entry of Yanukovych and other representatives of Party of regions on the territory of psevdorespubliki.
This opinion was expressed by Chairman of the Board of the Center for applied political studies “Penta” Volodymyr Fesenko.
In fact, the expert said, Zakharchenko and Carpentry don’t want to give up its power. And Yanukovych as the head of Donbass do not need them.
The analyst recalled this “decision” was even in 2016. And denied entry, besides Yanukovych, former head of administration Andrey Klyuev, the oligarch Rinat Akhmetov and is close to the ex-President Sergey Kurchenko. According to Vladimir Fesenko, the current ban coincides with the interests and Zaharchenko with Carpentry, and some “towers of the Kremlin.”
First, Yanukovych seriously lost its support in the Donetsk region. Second, in the Kremlin there is a distrust of Yanukovych. It needs to play its role and not to go beyond the script. Ex-officials held in reserve and not released from there. Return them to the Donbass, no one wants, – said Fesenko.
However, the expert does not exclude that Yanukovych or someone from his entourage could make an attempt to return to the Donbass, to restore its “legitimacy”.
