The Kremlin commented on the scandalous statement of Zeman about the Crimea

Putin called the statement of the President of the Czech Republic “internal European debate”.

The statements of Czech President Milos Zeman about the possibility of compensation that Ukraine would get Crimea from Russia, Moscow see as part of the European debate. This was stated today, on 13 October, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

“We are talking about, say, intra-European discussions. We, of course, highly respected by a very reputable European policy Zeman, who, as you know, long-standing good relations with President Putin. Second: Yes, we observe the intra-European debate that is underway in this regard, and in particular drew attention to the recent statement of President Zeman”, — said Peskov.

We will remind, during a speech in Strasbourg, the President of the Czech Republic has offered to pay Ukraine to legitimize the annexation of Crimea.
