The journalists told about the “Golden” cherries in the occupied Crimea

In Crimea, the high price of cherries due to crop failure.

Due to April frosts occupied Crimea has lost a fifth of the harvest of fruit. Therefore, the prices for early and late varieties of cherries are very high.

As informs a portal “Crimea.The realities” on the Crimean shelves were the local cherries. Its price, for example, in the markets of the occupied Feodosiya – from 100 to 260 roubles per kilo (approximately 43-113 hryvnia).

According to the sellers, early varieties grown in the Crimea – not in great demand because of taste.

Nearest to the Peninsula region in mainland Ukraine – Kherson – Nehoda destroyed almost half the crop of fruit. But the early sweet cherry varieties are already selling for 25 hryvnia – is twice cheaper, than in Crimea. Late varieties, which are also already on the shelves, more expensive: the highest price per kilo – UAH 75.
