The Japanese killed 57 snow monkeys because of the “bad” genes

In the North of Japan in the zoo snow monkeys killed 57 when diagnosed with genes “invasive alien species”

The zoo said that a DNA test has shown that Japanese macaques are bred with monkeys-rhesus.

The latter are forbidden in Japan by law and are alien to the Islands.

As a result, management of the zoo decided to kill the apes by lethal injection. Local authorities explained that the elimination of macaques with hostile genome was inevitable because there were fears that they might escape from the zoo. Their continued reproduction in the wild would negatively impact on the natural environment.

Japanese macaques, commonly known as snow monkeys, are one of the major tourist attractions of Japan.

Recall that in the Norwegian Hardangervidda national Park, a lightning strike killed 323 deer. Dead animals found after severe hurricanes, which hit the area the day before.
