Israeli Perion Network announced the purchase of Ukrainian startup Septa Communications
Israeli company Perion Network announced the purchase of Ukrainian startup Septa Communications, better known under the name of Captain Growth. The transaction amount was $3.75 million.
Part of the funds will be paid directly to the takeover of the company, the remaining amount, the startup will receive for two years when achieving the set KPI.
Perion Network deals with advertising solutions for publishers and brands. The company was founded in 1999 under the name of IncrediMail and developed the eponymous email client. In 2011 the company changed its name to Perion. By 2015, Perion revenues reached $330 million.
Septa Communications – Ukrainian startup founded by Dmitry Pleshakova and Dmitry Balasem in 2017. The founders launched the project after the management of their own digital Agency. The company is developing a project called the Captain’s Growth, It’s AI product, able to analyze advertising and manage the marketing activities of clients. Previously, the team participated in the accelerator StartAD and attract investment.
