Law enforcement officers made a statement on the investigation into the murder of a prominent journalist.
The investigation in the murder case of journalist Pavel Sheremet investigation has no suspects who can be held accountable. This was announced by adviser to the Minister of internal Affairs, MP from “popular front” Anton Gerashchenko.
“In the case of Sheremet until the investigation is, unfortunately, no suspects could be safe to sue as people who did”, – said Gerashchenko.
He reminded that Ukraine is a member of the Convention for the protection of human rights.
“All decisions of our courts shall be, if possible, to the ECHR. We let somebody was convicted for two weeks, then the same person will receive the decision in the ECHR that was a violation of procedure”, – said the adviser to the interior Minister.
