The GDP growth in Ukraine this year could reach 2% with inflation at 10%, the IMF predicts.
The international monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts Ukraine’s GDP growth at 2% inflation at 10% by the end of 2017. This is stated in its April review of the IMF’s World Economic Outlook.
GDP growth in 2018 could reach to 3.2%. Inflation by the end of next year could reach 7%.
The average annual inflation this year is projected at 11.5%, and in 2018, to 9.5%.
The current account balance in 2017 is expected to reach -3,6% of GDP in 2018 (-2.9 percent of GDP).
The unemployment rate this year is projected at 9%, and in 2018 – by 8.7%.
Earlier, the IMF predicted the national debt in the current year at the level 89.8% of GDP in 2018 – 85.3% of GDP.
