The international monetary Fund worsened the forecast of inflation for Ukraine 1.3% to 12.8%. This is stated in the published Fund regional economic Outlook for Europe.
Despite rising inflation, the IMF decided not to change its forecast for growth of Ukraine’s economy, leaving it at 2%.
The inflation forecast for 2018 was degraded by 0.4 percentage points to 10%, for 2019 – was worsened by 0.5 percentage points to 7%. In addition, the IMF forecast growth of domestic demand in 2017 is 4.1%, in 2018 – 4%, in 2019 – 4.2%; the share of investment in GDP in 2017 – at the level of 21%, in 2018 – at the level of 23.2%, in 2019 – 25,1%; the unemployment rate in 2017 to 9.5% in 2018 and 9.3% in 2019 and to 8.8%; public debt to GDP in 2017 was 86.2%, in 2018 – 83,5%in 2019 it is 77.9%.
