To date, the cost of gas is not relevant from the IMF and does not prevent the receipt of the tranche, say Zelensky.
The representative of President Vladimir Zelensky in the Cabinet of Ministers Andriy Gerus submits that the international monetary Fund no longer requires to increase the price of gas.
“Today the IMF has no new requirements and claims regarding gas prices. This item, which was spelled out in the Memorandum executed. This is not an obstacle for the next tranche. To date, this question is not relevant from the IMF,” said Gerus.
As reported, today appointed Zelensky Gerus its representative in the Cabinet.
Note, the IMF mission arrived in Ukraine on may 21. Its work should continue for two weeks. Media wrote that the mission will cease operations ahead of schedule, but the Fund denied it.
