The heroine of the day: from Kiev’s leg caught the man flying from the ninth floor

In the Svyatoshinsky district of Kiev, the man accidentally fell from the ninth floor. However, his feet picked up, a neighbor who lived below. 56-year-old Olga Mikhailenko for half an hour held his legs the man until help came.

The incident, as told by the rescued man started because of a domestic dispute.

“I smoked on the balcony, then climbed to the outside, stood on the flower boxes and told my wife that if she did not stop to yell at me, jump down. Actually, of course, was not going to do it — the ninth floor, after all!”, — says Vladimir Blisko.

So he wanted to frighten the wife. However, when he tried to climb back, something went wrong — his foot slipped and he fell down: “I Managed to grab hold of the edge of the rim, hung for a few seconds, and then the fingers to disengage”.

This coins 30-year-old son of Olga noticed that on the balcony hung someone’s pants.

“Alex said that there are some pants. It was already midnight don’t miss out. I looked up from my notebooks, went out to see. And I realized that it’s not the pants. the legs of the neighbor! I didn’t think — in the next second he snapped. I managed to catch it on the fly, I even can’t imagine. But the fact remains: when he flew by, I grabbed him by the ankle. Then he flipped upside down and hung,” said the woman.

The woman could not explain how she managed to keep a man. She says that was a very strong push that “almost pulled the shoulder joints.”

“The strongest jerk me off the floor and I hovered, half-leaning out from the balcony after uncle Vova. If it was on the floor, my son may be able to tighten the neighbor to us. But to get the two of us at Lesha was not strong enough. I shouted to him that I called someone for help,” explained Olga.

The son of Olga Mikhailenko ran to call for help neighbors. However, everything happened at night and search assistants took half an hour.

“Every second of those 30 minutes that I kept her hanging upside down neighbor, was given to me harder and harder. Legs trembling, hands went numb. It seemed that in a moment can’t take any more”, — said Olga.
