This was stated by the head of the NBU Valery Gontareva in an interview to UKRINFORM.
“Today the reality of others, and the blockade is part of them, which will lead, in particular, to the widening of the current account deficit of the balance of payments to 4.3 billion dollars this year,” she said.
Last year the current account deficit of the balance of payments of Ukraine amounted to $ 3.4 billion. The increase in the deficit was predefined as a reduction of exports and the resumption of import growth.
Earlier, the national Bank because of the blockade of Donbass has revised its forecast for national GDP in 2017, lowering it from 2.8% to 1.9%.
