The President predicts that this year the growth of the economy of Ukraine will amount to 1.8%, and in 2020 will accelerate to 4%.

This opinion was expressed by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada.
“GDP has been growing for six consecutive quarters, after 14 quarters of decline. And this despite the fact that the bulk of the industrial potential of Ukraine, which was located in the Donbas, occupied”, – said the head of state.
“We this year the projected growth rate of 1.8%. The expected acceleration of growth to 4% in 2020”, – said the President.
He recalled that recently, the credit Agency Moody’s increased the credit rating of Ukraine.
“Two other reputable agencies have done it a little earlier”, – said the President.
