The Ministry of transport, Rosavtodor and state company Avtodor discuss the construction of a free highway from Krasnodar to the Crimean bridge. At the moment, from Krasnodar to the Crimea are two roads: A-289, and another that passes through Krymsk and Chinku. A-289 length of 150 km away from Krasnodar to Slavyansk-on-Kuban and Temryuk. According to the newspaper’s sources, the new road should pass to the South of this route to other roads of the future Far Western bypass of Krasnodar. Close to the “Avtodor”, the source said that the new route will be closer to the Crimean.
The representative of the Ministry of transport explained that the track would, in essence, a new direction And-289 – from the intersection with the future Far Western bypass of Krasnodar to the highway A-290. He added that it is proposed to construct a 128 km of new road and completion of works is planned in 2022.
