The Ministry of education plans to reduce the number of budget places in Ukrainian universities.
The Cabinet of Ministers has reduced the state order for training in higher educational institutions in 2017 almost 17% compared to 2016 year – on-year to 213 thousand people.
This is stated in the government decree No. 511.
The total volume of the state order is set at 212 thousand 970 people, of which full-time education – 190 thousand 359.
The volume of state order for training of specialists of educational-qualification level “Junior specialist” is set at the level of 57,2 thousand people; “bachelor” – 82,7 thousand people; “master based on bachelor level” – 62,3 thousand people, “master on the basis of full secondary education” – 5.9 thousand people.
Reception in postgraduate study and doctoral studies on the state order is set at the level of 4.4 million people and 468, respectively.
In monetary terms, the public procurement 2017 amount of 23.69 billion UAH. 9% more than in 2016.
Recall that at the educational level “specialist” set in the year 2017 is not possible.
It should be noted that in 2017 to participate in testing it was 240 thousand 881 people. Of these, 192 778 thousand graduates of secondary schools in 2017.
