The Cabinet of Ministers extended the ban on import to Ukraine of the approved list of Russian goods until 31 December 2018. The corresponding resolution was adopted at the government meeting on Wednesday, December 20.
In particular, the Cabinet has made changes in its ruling of 30 December 2015 №1147 “On the prohibition of import into the customs territory of goods originating from Russia”, according to which its action is extended until 31 December 2018 (inclusive).
This decision was made with the aim of ensuring national security of Ukraine in response to Russia’s introduction of the appropriate trade prohibitions and restrictions on Ukraine.
While in the previously approved list includes additional items, such as polyethylene with a specific gravity of 0,94 or more, and a polyvinyl chloride, not mixed with other substances, ammonium sulphate, a mixture of ammonium nitrate with calcium carbonate or other inorganic substances which are not fertilizers.
