The goalkeeper of the national team of Ukraine on hockey Eduard Zakharchenko has signed a contract with the British club “Nottingham Panthers”.
The current winner of the Continental Cup IIHF on Twitter confirmed the signing Zakharchenko contract, is not of the season 2017-2018.
“We still have a long season, and I see that Eduard will play in this important role. Last year he got great press after the performance with his national team and at club level. I am sure that he will succeed and Panthers”, – comments the signing of the Ukrainian goalkeeper coach “Nottingham” Corey Nielson.
Clicking the “Nottingham” Zakharchenko got the opportunity next season to play in the Champions League. The results of the draw of the group round of the tournament in Nottingham were in group F and will play against Bern (Switzerland), TPS (Finland) and Hradec králové (Czech Republic).
Eduard Zakharchenko last season in the HC “Kremenchuk” became Vice-champion of Ukraine – 21-year-old goalie in the regular season played 26 games (of 1.46 goals against average per game, 94.6% of the parried shots), and in the playoffs played 10 matches (of 1.67 and 92.3).
