The French police have prevented a terrorist attack that was planned during the match PSG – Bordeaux on 30 September, writes Daily Mail, citing sources in law enforcement bodies.

Near the stadium Parc des princes at about 4 am it was found an improvised explosive device. It consisted of four gas cylinders and were supposed to explode after a call from a mobile phone.

Law enforcers managed to arrest five suspects, among them were under the supervision of the Islamic extremist.

Other detainees have not yet been identified.

It is noted that the bomb was liquidated on the spot by experts.

The details of the operation were not disclosed previously, since the anti-terrorist French police conducted raids in the suburbs of Paris.

The match PSG-Bordeaux was supposed to be about 50 thousand fans.
